Does exactly what it says it will do, My cat is napping above my eyeline and so she feels superior and grants me permission to work uninterrupted. The clamp system works with my wooden desk. The bottom plate looks like it could mount to a standard VESA arm mount (I'm tempted to try, it would be nice ro able to manipulate the arm more). As it is now, it's solid and sturdy and the cat jumping up on it does not wobble my momitors, beverages or workflow. It was very easy to assemble and its a great size for a larger cat. It's a bit pricey, but it does what I expected it to do and is made of solid materials. The bed has a pretty hard surface which my cat prefers, but if your cat is picky then plan to add more cusion.
